With weapon upside down,

remove screw & lock washer

from exisiting pistol grip. Save

hardware for step 5.

Carefully remove the pistol

grip and collect the safety

detent and safety detent

spring.

Reinstall the safety detent &

spring in their original position

inside the lower receiver.

Position UPG16 replacement

pistol grip on the lower

receiver. Slide safety spring

into spring hole.

Reinstall pistol grip screw and

lock washer which you saved

from step 1.

After securing screw insert

compartment plug.

* Use push pin to change

fingergrooves & backstraps.
